The spring of the Krka River is a genuine karstic spring, that is interesting and unique because it is located directly below the cascades of Topoljski Buk created by the Krčić Brook, a tributary to the Krka River.
The cascade is 22 meters in height, noisy in winter and dry in summer. The water flow oscillates constantly, changing the appearance of the cascade from day to day. In summer, when the Krčić is usually dry, the source of the Krka River is easily visible. Although not within the boundaries of the Krka National Park, the natural landscape is protected by law and is very attractive.
