Krapanj is the smallest and the most populated island of the ©ibenik region with the surface od 0,36 km2. This is the island with the lowest height above sea- level in the Adratic Sea. It is called the island of sponges because the sponge procession has been a traditional activity of its people.
It is only 300 meters away from the neighbouring land where the settlement Brodarica lies.
